The Tampa Bay SQL Users Group is dedicated to providing an environment that allows members of the technical community a place to meet and share information about SQL Server related topics. In addition, we firmly believe in the need for networking within the community for both technical and professional reasons.
To this end we meet once a month on the third Tuesday of the month at the Juvenile Welfare Board in Clearwater. Our meetings are free to attendees and all are welcome. We usually have a meet & greet starting at 6:00 PM with food arriving before the meeting officially starts at 6:30 PM. We have announcements for local and PASS oriented activities. We then open the floor to attendees to share new things they have learned and request ideas on issues they have been encountering in their experiences with SQL. Then our speaker for the month takes the floor and presents on a topic that is SQL related. We do not condone presentations focused on selling a SQL related product. We end the evening with a raffle drawing. After adjourning we usually go to the Courtside Grille for more casual networking. For more information go to www.TampaSQL.com.
